London Dampproofing is your local, friendly and efficient family run business, with three generations of experience, based in and around London.

Based in Aveley on the outskirts of London, we are the perfect choice for any damp proofing work in and around Central and East London, Essex and Kent. Being this local makes all the difference as we are always just a short drive or phone call away and if it’s an emergency, we operate a 24-hour help line throughout the week.

We offer our services to the General Public, Private and Commercial Sector Architects, Surveyors, Local Authorities and Housing Associations.

Had Steve round to do some damp proofing in my side return. From first visit down to the last, I many questions and he was always happy to answer and was very patient.
A few days before arrival, it had rained a lot so I was unable to clear the work area of all my storage items. Steve and Tel were so helpful and managed to get it all out and into the garden in quick time with no complaints. The actual job was great. Tanking slurry and epoxy all done in less than two days including drying time intervals between coats. I would highly recommend and won’t hesitate to use Steve again if required.

I reached out to Steve about a property I was in the process of buying, and he was able to provide a clear, fair price based entirely on the independent damp survey I provided. Once our completion date was locked in, Steve accommodated us perfectly, booking the work for just over a week after we got the keys—which was fantastic.
On the day, Steve arrived promptly and double-checked the areas with his own damp meter to confirm the survey's findings. He and his colleague immediately got to work hacking off the old plaster, injecting the new damp-proof course, and applying the waterproof render.
What really stood out was their professionalism. They took extra care to protect our furniture with dust sheets, and Steve was incredibly patient, answering all of my questions and concerns. They returned the next day to apply the final plaster, and the finish is excellent.
Once finished, the team spent plenty of time ensuring the rooms were left clean and tidy. We couldn't be happier with the service from London Damp Proofing and would highly recommend them!

Steve and his colleague arrived on time and worked really well together all day stripping an internal wall back to the bricks, injecting a new damp proof course and then making good with finished plaster surface. They vacuumed and cleaned the area. I was very happy with their work.

We had our cellar waterproofed by the team with new membrane wall and flooring. The workmanship was top notch and the job was done ahead of schedule. Steve is very responsive which is always appreciated for this type of work. No complaints and highly recommended.
